Gray Area - No addresses with a state or Zip Code.
The post office scans this entire area for any address. If you put an address in the gray area, the post office may deliver your postcard to that address instead of the mailing address. Photos, logos, names, text, etc. are OK to print in the gray area.

Red Area - No text/graphics
The only text allowed in the red area is the recipient’s mailing address and the post office markings. Please let us know if you want us to print your mailing permit information in the stamp/indicia area. It will print on all of the postcards. Unless otherwise instructed, we will leave the stamp/indicia area blank. If Layton Printing is mailing your postcards, we will print our mailing permit information on all of your postcards.
